Term 4 Week 6

sport

On Friday the 13 of November 2015 Room 28/29 played a game called kick ball. First Riley and Nathan r went to go and get three balls from the sports shed after we went on the field bat the year 3 were doing athletics so we went on the bigger field.Then we put the balls  on the cones.after that the year 4 wear the first ones to kick the balls.After we swecd over and the wining team was the year 5 jast by one. Wean the year 5 kick the ball Mr Wright needid  to kick the balls away from us.my favret part of the day was wean The year 5 won.

Term 4 Week 2

Today the dolphin group went to swimming.first  We sat and did kicking on the pool of the edge.  I fell into the pool. I got a fright.  Next we did starfish floating on our backs. We did the rocket ship and for the rocket ship you have to glide. We had a race to the other side of the pool. We had a while to play. Ashra and I played mermaids. Soon we got out of the pool because it was cold. My hands felt like ice blocks.  I liked the race because it was fun and exciting.

My Reflection

I have been learning about the New Zealand flag changing.  I found this interesting because it helped me learn more about it.  I think we should have a new flag because it looks too much like the Australian flag and it is too blue.

We have been learing to read loud using expression.We need to look at the punctuation to help use expression. I enjoyed this because it was actually really fun and I liked acting out the play.  My next step is to keep working on my fluency and remembering the names of the girls. 

Geometry 3D shapes

My reflection

I am learning to recognise and describe 3D shapes using mathematical language. I found this a little bit hard because I didn't know how to work out the features of the cone and I had trouble with the cube. My next step is to learn about nets of 3D shapes.

Finding and Summarising Information in the Text

I have been learning to find and summarise information.  We read a book about machine that fly.  I found this tricky because I didn't really understand the questions.  My next step is to ask someone to help me understand.
