Learning About Adjectives

I was learning to add adjectives to give my sentences more meaning.

I have to remember to use adjectives that make the picture clear for my reader.

I thought this activity was hard because it was hard to think of the words.

My best adjective was indinreingnes because those are my birds.

My next step is to use adjectives in my own stories to make them interesting.

Term 2 week 5

Last week the year 4's went to Te Tuhi for a trip.  We did a play for jeremy and the adults.  I was a bug and then we did a collage.  It was fun.  Last week bike skills were cancelled because it was raining I was sad.

Recognising and understanding prefixes

My reflection

I have been learning to recognise and understand prefixes. I know now that when a prefix like 'un' is added to the beginning of word ti changes the meaning. This can help me understand what  words mean.  This was new learning for me and I found it easy to understand. My next step is to learn different prefixes.

I have been learning to round numbers to the nearest 10 and 100. I found this easy because i knew all the numbers.My next step is to round bigger numbers.
